Dont buy from them. they simply take your money, delay your item, and after 2-3 months will say, item was lost in shipment and refund you. but for that 2-3 months they have invested your money and earn the interest. clever bastards.
and for that 2-3 months they will lie to you saying, item arrived but stuck in custom or item arrived but had to return it due to some document issue, etc. after while they will simply stop answering phone calls.

So did they comment on the issue. Seems like a very serious one. I was thinking of ordering from them. But now I don’t think I will. That thread started more than two months ago and the Kapruka Guys are replying there but no one has yet to confirm they received their items. Seems like a fraud
I too has a very bad experience. Ordered an item and for 2 weeks they kept on lying about it saying that it was still at the customs & couldn’t clear it. Then all of a sudden they said that they dont know where the item is. How can that happen ? Dont they track items ?
The sad part is when they didnt even know where it was they kept lying for 2 months saying that its in the US warehouse then its in the customs, ect

I ordered an Invicta mens watch and received it within two weeks. order was from Amazon.
Staff were friendly and helpful. I got an SMS when it arrived in the store.
Ordered some stuff from them. The first order got delayed (a book), but my recent order (a tablet) was fine.
Ordered a mouse last month.. (15th November). Their tracking page says that the item is now in their Global Shop, awaiting customer pickup/ delivery.. Called them and told them to deliver it to my place on Friday. They said “We’re on our way right now sir”, never came. Called them yesterday.. Told me the same thing and I called again at around 10 PM.. Yes, at night. Said they’ll be here in an hour or so.. wut. At night? Then today I was told that they’re at Nugegoda and will be here in an hour. I’m sure they will either deliver it after months of trouble OR they will refund it and apologize. This doesn’t work. Just don’t ever buy from these people please. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone. Not even my enemies.
Yes kapruka delivered on time. Other players in the market like takas.lk, supermarket.lk etc. dont have the imported phone range.

I ordered a mic worth 25K from them and they failed to deliver it on time though the vendor delivered it on time to them. I wanted the item urgently that’s why ordered via Air Freight, though my relative was due in another month. Now relative going to come next week but not the item.
Very disgusted by their false promises and unprofessionalism.
Can you deliver electronic items from Amazon to Sri Lanka?
I ordered flowers and a chocolate for Valentines day. I order them on 4th of feb 2016. They were supposed to be delivered on 14th of feb 2016. They did not arrive on today. I called them. They told me even though my order was supposed to arrive on valentines day, it would not be there until tomorrow. Great!!! day after Valentines. They were still advertising flowers same day delivery.

3 approaches Kapruka use to make an excessive profit.
First is you place an order, and belatedly, they send you the price. You see the price, and give them the payment. They then ring you the next day, tell you that you were too slow to make the payment, and the price for the item has gone up. In my case, it was only 4 hours, and they told me the price after 6pm.
Second it, they have a minimum weight for packing any item. Order anything, it is at least 1lb allowance for shipping. They wouldn’t do that, just put it all in a large box and ship it.
Third method, because the shipping is overpriced, and the tax payable is also on shipping, they over-estimate the amount of tax payable. They only pay what is due of course, and take the difference between tax paid and what you paid.
The money going to Kapruka is this way more than the stated 30c, and the reason buying any item that is $6 on Amazon.com is nearly $15.
Most of the difference is pure profit.
