ඔබ දැනටමත් දන්නවා ඇති Apple Home Pod සහ Google Home උපාංග පිළිබඳව. මේවා smart speakers උපාංග වන අතර මේවායේ අඩංගු වන digital personal assistant මෘදුකාංග මගින් පරිශීලකයාට අවශ්‍ය විවිධ කාර්යන්, පහසුවෙන් කරගැනීමට හැකි වේ. මෙම ලිපියෙන් අප කතා කරන්න බලාපොරොත්තු වන්නේ තවත් මෙවැනිම smart speaker උපාංගයක් ගැනයි.

Amazon Echo Dot යනු?

Amazon Echo යනු Amazon ආයතනය නිෂ්පාදනය කරන ලද smart speaker උපාංගයයි. Amazon Echo Dot යනු තරමක් උසින් අඩු කොට නිෂ්පාදනය කරන ලද Amazon Echo වැනිම smart speaker උපාංගයකි. මෙහි Amazon Alexa නමැති කෘතීම බුද්ධිය virtual assistant කෙනෙක් ලෙස අඩංගු වේ. මෙයින් පරිශීලකයාගේ කටහඬ හදුනාගෙන, වාචිකව ලබා දෙන විවිධ විධාන වලට අනුව ක්‍රියා කරයි. නවතම Amazon Echo Dot උපාංගය Amazon Echo Dot 3 නම් වේ.

ඒක මොන වගේද?

Amazon Echo Dot අනෙකුත් smart speaker උපාංග වලට සාපේක්ෂව ප්‍රමාණයෙන් කුඩා වේ. සිලින්ඩරාකාර හැඩයක් සහිත මෙහි කළු, අළු සහ සුදු ලෙස වර්ණ තුනකින් අපට ලබාගත හැක. මෙහි උඩ මුහුණතේ ශබ්දය අඩු වැඩි කිරීමට, mic on/off කිරීමට සහ action සඳහා බොත්තම් හතරක් ඇත. වක්‍ර මුහුණතේ speaker එක සහ විදුලිය සැපයීමට port එකක් සහ 3.5 audio out එකකින් සමන්විත වේ. වක්‍ර මුහුණතේ උඩ කොටසේ වළල්ලක් ආකාරයට LED තීරුවක් ඇත. යට මුහුණත රබර් වන අතර එමගින් ඕනෑම මතුපිටක ලිස්ස නොයන අකාරයෙන් තැබිය හැක.

එදිනෙදා කටයුතු උදෙසා ඔබ දුරස්ථ පාලක එහෙම නැත්තම් remote controller බොහෝ සෙයින් භාවිත කරනවා ඇති. මෙහි පහසුවක් තිබුණද විවිධ උපාංග සඳහා විවිධ දුරස්ථ පාලක භාවිත කිරීමට ඔබට සිදු වෙනවා. ඒවගේම නිතරම බැටරි මාරු කිරීමටත්, දුරස්ථ පාලක කිහිපයක් තැබීමට යම් ඉඩකඩකුත් වෙන් කරන්න සිදු වෙනවා. නමුත් ඒ කරදරකාරී බව අවම කරගෙන ඔබේ smart දුරකතනයෙන් දුරස්ථ පාලක කටයුතු කරන උපාංගයක් ගැන තමයි මේ කියන්න හදන්නෙ.

භාවිත කරන්නෙ කොහොමද?

මෙය setup කරගැනීම ඉතා පහසුයි. සරළ පියවර කිහිපයකින් මෙය භාවිත කරන්න පුළුවන්. උපාංගයට විදුලි බලය ලබාදීමෙන් පසු, smartphone එකේ ස්ථාපිත කරගත් IHC app එකෙහි අදාල උපාංගය තෝරාගෙන තිරයේ පරිදි උපදෙස් අනුගමනය කරන්න තිබෙන්නෙ. ඉන් පසු දුරස්ථ පාලක මෙම app එකට පුරුදු කිරීම කළ යුතුයි. නමුත් වෙළඳ පොළේ තිබෙන බොහෝ විද්‍යුත් උපකරණවල දුරස්ථ පාලක මෙම app එකෙහි ගබඩා කරලා තිබෙන නිසා අලුතෙන් එය කිරීම අත්‍යවශ්‍ය වන්නෙ නැහැ. නමුත් පළමු වර භාවිතයේදී, එම button නිවැරදිදැයි ඔබට බලන්න පුළුවන්. මෙසේ ඔබ ළඟ තිබෙන ඕනෑම දුරස්ථ පාලක මගින් පාලනය වන විද්‍යුත් උපකරණයක් මෙයට සම්බන්ධ කරන්න පුළුවන්. නමුත් මෙය IR කිරණ භාවිත කරන නිසා, බිත්ති අතර කිරණ සම්ප්‍රේෂණය වීමක් සිදු වෙන්නෙ නැහැ. ඒ නිසා මෙය එක් කාමරයක සිට තවත් කාමරයක පාලනය සිදු කරන්න බැහැ.

උදාහරණයක් ලෙස වායුසමීකරණ යන්ත්‍රයක් ගතහොත්, එහි ඇති බොහෝ කටයුතු මේ උපාංගය හා app එක හරහා කරන්න පුළුවන්. On/Off, timers, fan speed වගේ බොහෝ දේ පාලනය කිරීම කල හැක. පෙර සකසා නැති, උපාංගයක් නම් user defined appliance මෙනුව ඔස්සේ නව උපාංගයක් එකතු කළහැක.

මිට අමතරව Scene එකතු කිරීමත් කල හැක. ඉන් අදහස් වෙන්නෙ, යම් අවස්ථාවකදී උපාංග කිහිපයක් එක වර ක්‍රියා කරවන ලෙස උපදෙස් දීමයි. උදාහරණයක් විදියට එම අවස්ථාවේ වායුසමීකරණය 20°C හා රුපවාහිනී යන්ත්‍රය on වීම සිදු වීම එක කාර්යයක් විදියට දක්වන්න පුළුවන්.

ඒ වගේම timers මගින් උපාංග ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන්න පුලවන්. එනම්, යම් කාලයක් සඳහා උපාංගයක් ක්‍රියාත්මක වීමත් එම කාලයට පසු ඉබේ උපාංගය ක්‍රියා විරහිත වීම සිදු කරන්න පුළුවන්. ඒ වගේම IFTTT සේවාව () ඔස්සේ, යම් දෙයක් සිදුවුවිට යම් කාර්යයයක් සිදු කිරීමට අපිට පුළුවන්. උදාහරණයක් විදියට උෂ්ණත්වය 25°C ට වඩා වැඩි වනවිට වායුසමීකරණය යම් උෂ්ණත්වයකට පත්වන තෙක් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරවන්න පුළුවන්. මේ වගේ එදිනෙදා කාර්යයන් ඉතා පහසු කරන්න මෙම කුඩා උපාංගයට පුළුවන්.

Voice command මගින් පාලනය

අද වනවිට ජංගම දුරකථන අතින් හසුරුවන්නේ නැතිව, voice command එකකින් හසුරුවන්න පුළුවන් තරමටම තාක්ෂණය අලුත් වෙලා. Google Home හෝ Alexa වැනි voice assistant කෙනෙකු හරහාද අපිට මෙම උපාංග හසුරුවන්න පුළුවන්. ඒ සඳහා IHC හි ගිණුමක් සාදාගත යුතු වෙනවා. එය Google Home app එකට සම්බන්ධ කිරීම මගින් ඔබටත් කටහඩ මගින් ඔබේ නිවසේ දුරස්ථ පාලක මගින් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන ඕනෑම උපකරණයක් මෙහෙයවන්න පුළුවන්.

අවාසි

මෙහි අවාසි කිහිපයක් තිබෙනවා. මුලින් සඳහන් කරා වගේ, IR කිරණ භාවිතය නිසා ඔබේ නිවසේ එක් එක් කාමර සඳහා වෙන වෙනම උපාංගයක් ස්ථාපිත කිරීමට සිදු වෙනවා. ඒ වගේම නිතරම router එක ක්‍රියාත්මකව තිබිය යුතුයි. මොකද ඔබේ mobile phone එකෙන් ලබාදෙන signal මෙම උපාංගයට ලැබෙන්නෙ router එක හරහා. ඒවගේම IR පමණක් compatible නිසා RF (radio frequency) මගින් පාලනය වන උපකරණ භාවිත කිරීමට හැකියාවක් නැහැ. නමුත් ඒ සඳහා Broadlink RM Pro ලෙස IR හා RF දෙකම භාවිත කල හැකි උපාංගයක් තිබෙනවා.
